But, after microZOLT and HD 600 or JMT Penguin and ETY e4s I touched a point of audio quality always wanted. But I know I have a lot of room to grow yet. And now, my love for music is even biger...

Hope you understand my English...

please, you spell better than i do. and i completely agree about the "best bang for the buck". i enjoy time with my headphones and amps, working on them, always trying to improve what i have instead of just throwing money at the hobby.

Imo, if you really love music, there is no reason not to buy as good equipment as possible. I think everyone here can agree that better equipment gives you better enjoyment, and what true music lover wouldn't want that? There may, however, be different 'degrees' of music lovers, and those on the more extreme side may be more inclined to buy better equipment. But if someone is willing to settle for mediocre equipment and know that more enjoyment can be achieved, then they really must not love music all that much.

I would say that music for me is priority. If I save money for, let's say, a new Palm, I think twice and use it in a better headhone... And try to keep the old Palm type thing...

That could be quite try and a interesting way to look at it. For me I would say that would be an accurate description. I have experienced it many times where better equipment, tweaking etc has allowed me to listen to a cd longer than I have done before because it has revealed new intracties that have made it more involving where before it might of sounded less inspired or even boring.

The idea goes in somewhat reverse logic to the idea of people that profess it should not matter the quality of the "sound" but only on performance and music where if we cared about the quality of the sound it labels us as "audiophiles" and equipment lovers over having love of music.

A big problem today is that people, particuarly kids, only listen to music through TV or Computer speakers and rarely get to experience high quality speakers or headphnes. This is creating a huge problem because kids don't realize how much better music is when listened to through better quality hardware.
