Hey, I currently am in the middle of upgrading my portable setup. I am going to post this little poll to help with my troubles. I am having trouble deciding between the PA2v2 and the Go-vibe v3 with AD8620 op-amp.

Which do you think I should be using. Please feel free to state why...

Well crap,

I listed the wrong op-amp in the Poll...

I have a go-vibe with AD8620 op-amp.

i just today got my go-vibe v4 with the 8620... it sounds great with my nano out the headphone jack! way more sound stage and lower clearer bass, actually clearer across the entire frequency range.

shouldn't you be using a line out with your amp and nano.

The PAV2 adds warmth and punch so with IEM's and bass deficient cans it helps to bring the bass to the front.

anyone else wanna vote?

PA2v2 with low-impedance headphones (like the Shures) and for rectifying bass deficient setups (like the iPod with most IEMs). Also, I'd pick it for convenience - internal recharger, crazy-long battery life, and use of standard AA size rechargeables instead of 9v cells. It's also smaller in size, which is a concern for portable setups.

EDIT: I've heard that battery life on the go-vibe with ad8620 isn't so hot - can anyone confirm?

I have a PIMETA with the AD8620 op-amp and I love the sound, so I'd go with the Go-Vibe w/ AD8620
