FS: iPod 1st gen 5GB in true near-mint condition. 100% full functionality, no problems. Comes with blue iSkin, FireWire cable, Apple earbuds, and wall adapter with U.S. plug. Still excellent battery life on a full charge (6-7 hours). This is the only iPod generation that uses the incredibly tactile mechanical wheel, which offers really great scrolling precision.

By first generation do you mean the one with the scroll wheel that actually moves? As in is the scroll wheel is a moving piece?

Yes, I mean the original 1st gen iPod having a physically turning scrollwheel, as distinct from the touchwheel of subsequent generations which does not physically turn.
