Keyboard Interference with headphones??!!

Ok, so there I was, just typing away on the keyboard and listening to the shures when I heard some static. I thought to myself "oh no, the Shures/ Iriver are broken!"

Then in the short space between songs I was typing, at the same moment as I was typing the static was coming through the headphones! (I have a HP wireless keyboard.)

I found it pretty weird, any one else ever noticed this? Just a thought for those who have computer as source and work on the computer at the same time...

Never noticed any interference from my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.

Some component is not very RFI proof there. If the static goes away once you attach one or more ferrite clips or similar to the Shures' cable close to the amp, it's probably the amp. A little capacitor to drain RF from the outputs to ground (typically in the 10s to 100s of pF) may help then.

I doesn't happen with the Grado's (less sensitive??) and it doesn't bother me though because I was only using the e4c's because I'd just got them. I needed to break my ears back in and I could only hear it when there was a gap between music.

My iRiver H340 will sometimes get interference from a cell phone ringing, so I imagine it's your iRiver that has the issue.
