So my gf and I sent our E2's and E3's back to Shure about 2 weeks ago. We just got a box back with 2 brand new headphones in full retail packaging.
Best of all, her E2's used to only include the silicone and foam tips. The new one now includes the more comfortable soft tips which actually seem to make the E2's slightly less congested and more E3'ey.
