Excellent buyer. As soon as I agreed to sell a break out cable to Jeremy the money was in my paypal account. I would definitely do business with him again.

Kassem lied to me.  I traded a set of Sensaphonic IEMs for his pair of Sennheiser HD600 headphones.

Lie #1:  I was promised by Jeremy that "The headphones are perfect condition except I have had them for 6 years, so they are exactly as if they would have been worn for 6 years. The pads are good, the sound is as good as ever, etc." (All PMs and emails saved for my records.)

Truth #1:  Jeremy modded the headphones by removing the inner foam that's found between the driver and your ear.  Many people remove the foam and agree that the sound is improved, but I was told that they had never been modded.  Jeremy also did not include the foam that he removed so that I could go back to stock, if I wanted to.

Lie #2:  Jeremy promised to ship out my headphones the weekend of May 8th.

Truth #2:  After various excuses and subsequent promises/lies, Jeremy shipped my headphones three weeks later on May 27th.

The headphones arrived almost a month late while I was over in Europe on business.  I returned home this past weekend and made sure that Jeremy's headphones had arrived.  After photographing them and showing the pictures to other forum members, I was informed that I had been scammed and that the headphones had been modded.  Upon contacting Jeremy, he instantly knew about the foam that had been removed and responded with "that foam is pointless/useless."  I then asked him to return my IEMs and that we would cancel the deal.  The scammer replied thusly:  "You're making s**t (my edit, not his) up now because you're a filthy person. The deal is done.  You even HAD my headphones for a MONTH already.  I am not sending you anything."

My travel document is posted below for proof:

Bottom Line:  Be very wary of dealing with Jeremy Kassem.  Please contact me if you want his full contact information in case you've been scammed as well.

You act like I stole from you.  Seriously.  You have money in your paypal that you asked for?  Have you had my headphones for a month before I've gotten yours?  Did you get to look at the headphones and view them AND have my paypal funds before you ever had to do anything?

The answer to all those questions is yes.  Kobayashi is a fake.

What did I steal?

oh yeah and he quoted me so here is one from him:

"You lied about not modding them but you knew that the foam was
missing.  You're a human piece of garbage.  Enjoy being banned,
****sucker."

You stole from me.  You lied to me as well.  Funny how you failed to address both of those facts in your reply.  You also must have missed the part with the travel documents or you wouldn't have made yourself look so ridiculous.

Hi, I want to be clear: my interaction with Head-fi member "Kassem" was thoroughly pleasant. He bought my Sony MDR-V6 headphones, which, admittedly, involved a lot less value than the interaction with user "Kobayashi", but I did not get scammed, lied to, or mistreated in any other way.

Good dude, and I would gladly do business with him again.
