Nice, when do you expect them to arrive digitalmind?
buying new gear and opening the package is really fun to do. When I buy a new headphone or other stuff in a store I'll say it's a gift, so that I can unwrap an axtre layer

I expect the Shure's at the end of the week. I actually haven't hit the "finalize order" on the Monolith yet, still haven't made up if I want the Monolith or the iAudio U3.

Saying it's a gift is actually a pretty cool idea, it might fool my mother into thinking it's not something uberly expensive aswell.

I like them alot and the isolation is good, enough to block out other students in class anyways, havn't really used them in any really loud enviroments. I havn't listened to any of the other IEM's in their price range though, so I don't know how the sound quality compares, but they sound much better than the ex71's I have.

Thanks for posting a pic of the Black Nano in an Agent18 shield. It's good to see the level of frosting on the non-screen part. IMHO I'm now happy with my case, since the black aluminum of my podsplus case retains the evil black look of the ipod without getting all frosty.

yeah, I wished it was totally clear, but it doesn't really look that bad to me, I will probably pick up a black case soon though

Yeah the resolution is 640x480, its really nice but the viewing angle is really limited. But other than that its great, I just bought the extended battery so I now get 9 hours of video and 26 hours of music, 97 db snr is quite nice as well, it has no problem powering my sennheisers, all be it they're only 56 ohm but still they sound rather good. yes with the xt batt it is does cost 470 dollars but I think it is worth it, you don't get that flimsy plasticky feeling you get from the ipod, the magnesium body feels nicely weighted and substantial in your hand, but will still fit in your back pocket. It is a really good player.
