It's not an orange backlight, it's simply the angle the picture was taken at while viewing the LCD. I owned an iPod mini in the past (same Silver one) and noticed that on occasion. Has something to do with the bluish tint to the characters, so it's just a trick of light and our eyes.

But those E3c just scream out "Buy me!!! Buy me!!!" because I'm sitting here with a pair of E2c that I'm not convinced are up to the task of handling my Rio Karma I get in a few days.

Will post pics of the setup when I get it all together.

It's funny to look back to thread 1 and see some of the older portable players...makes me wonder what'll be out in two years time...

I'd put a picture, but 2/3 ain't even in my town right now, and I'm out of batteries.

Iriver iFP895, and I think I'm in love with it, sounds wonderful
Silver Muvo Slim 512mb (lent out)
Black Zen Micro (sent back to creative for whatever problems it had )

Headphones I have SR60/sony d66 eggos/shure e2c.

I'll put a picture in when all my crap comes back.

ps. this website is responsible for all of it aside from the zen, I was only mostly sold on it before I found this place.

Hey, how did ya change the font on your iPod?? I'm played around with AlterPod on my Powerbook but I've never spent the time learning to change anything. Is it difficult to do? Could you point me to a tutorial or something? Thanks.
