I agree....it must be human nature to assume that what you like, everyone else will like. In an ideal world, that would help us stay cordial and sociable. But instead, we like to have debates on what tastes great or is less filling

I'm a stout and porter kind of beer guy: and I don't get why it isn't that everyone loves stouts


We all have different shaped ears and music preferences. So there is not going to be a golden, end all be all headphone for everyone. Thank goodness...wouldn't life be bland if all we had was one headphone brand?

If someone is looking for a different type of headphone, the best amp and source isn't going to radically change a headphone to something that it's not. A well amped and sourced HD650 will sound much better then a well amped and sourced k1000 for some people, and a well amped and sourced k1000 will sound much better then a well amped and sourced HD650 for some people. Different strokes for different folks.
