If you don't mind me asking, how much were they?

I will do a review when I first get them. Then I will do a review after 24 hours of constant music. Then 48 hours of music. I will tell the sound quality and difference. Then bust this theory after all.

That's funny because I am liking the DT990 Pros more than when I first got them, which normally happens for me the other way round so maybe they do significantly improve with burn in.

I can confirm that burn in does seem to improve them, or perhaps it's just your ears getting used to the sound.

I have had my pair for a while and probably played a few hundred hours music with them and in the beginning I did find the headphone to be somewhat fatiguing, for whatever reason that is no longer the case... If the headphone sound better? I probably can't tell any difference, but I do think that I have gotten used to the sound which the headphones produce :).
