I have economics class and my teacher is not very bright to say the least. Can someone explain to me or link to a good website on how does Supply/Demand work and what influences different changes in it. Thanks a lot for the help!

wikipedia is your best friend.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supply_and_demand

that's about everything you'd need to know for now make sure you understand the distinction between supply/demand and quantity supply/quantity demand. It's fairly simple, I LOVE economics.

economics is fun, but I wouldn't major in it. Career reasons. It'd be third in my list:

Accounting
Finance
Economics

(yup, i'm a freaking accounting major) and exams are tomorrow.....

this thread really has to go to member's lounge

Lesson #1:

There is a very high demand for Grado HF-1 headphones, and there is a very limited supply that is not growing, so the price on them is going up.

some people do find it boring. My parents had been telling me how damn boring it is and asked if I relly wanted to do it....but well...yeah I love it....especially when it gets more advance, you get more discretion in how to account things instead of just following the rules.

To top of it, the last HF-1 was lost in the mail, which means that Grado is making 451 HF-1s, which means the supply just went up .22%. On top of that someone just got an HF-1 for free, which means that the average price just took a $.44 dive or .22%.....hmmmmm.....

So, what you are telling me is that I like woodie?

Wow, I am very sorry to hear that, but I guess if someone happen to pick it up, and decide to sell that on ebay. Then you know that it is yours by looking at the serial number.

I totally fell asleep everyday in the front row of my economics class in high school. I read the book at home in peace and still passed it with a B though.
