The left phone on my HD437's got cut so I'm trying to maybe try to fix it :P there's a blue and orange wires inside and im trying to wrap them back onto their respective sides on the other side of the broken wire to no luck... any suggestions?

if you want to keep the cable, get a resistor lead, shove one end into wire near headphone, other into near jack, and dump solder onto the resistor lead.. the solder should connect the two, repeat and heatshrink

You will have much better luck reconnecting them if you remove the enamel from the wires. 
(I just burn it off with a lighter)

Using a solder pot
Using a soldering iron (some enamel can be really stubborn, and wont' burn off very easily)
Using a lighter: This method works, it just turns the cables blackish, and if you don't clean it up properly, solder takes a bit of work to get stuck.

HEY thanks a ton ..i did the same just
stripped the wires ...
burnt the enamel of wires by a matchstick...
reattached the wires ...
twisted it firmly and finally
taped it with an electric tape
and voila .....its back to normal...
thanks again
