It appears some of you are having problems with your Private Message pop-up window -- that it sometimes isn't popping up even though a new message has come in. I've had this happen to me a few times too, and I'm looking into the cause.
In the meantime, please look down at your Private Message count on the bottom-left hand side of the main forums screen to make sure you don't miss a private message, and we'll see what we can do about getting this pop-up window fixed as soon as possible.
Also, if you're not using Private Message pop-up windows, I'd highly recommend it, as it is a very helpful feature (when it's working, which is most of the time, and for most people). You can turn it on and off by clicking on the "user cp" button at the top of most of the screens when you're using Head-Fi. There are a bunch of other useful things you can do in there, so I'd recommend taking a look at your user cp (user control panel) if you haven't in a while.
