IC/FS: Modified Audio Alchemy DDE 1.0 DAC

I have an Audio Alchemy DDE 1.0 DAC that I've modified with all new electrolytic caps/Beefed up power supply caps (using Panasonic FM and Nichicon Muse), new RCA Jacks (gold plated tiffany-style), Silver-plated copper wiring, and new regulators. I've also socketed the AD797 dual-opamp, so opamp rolling is a breeze.

This DAC has a coax and toslink S/PDIF digital in, a toslink S/PDIF and I2S output, as well as analog outputs. The DAC is a 1-bit Pulse Density Modulated one from Philips. Audio Alchemy did extensive bypassing with MKP/MKT caps, and there's no electrolytics in the signal path.

This would make a great starter DAC, or a nice one for a bedroom/second system. I used it for quite a while with my NEC CD-602 External CD-Rom drive as the transport as a "frugophile" budget system. I'm only selling this because I now have 3 other DAC's with a 4th in the works, and need to make room.

I originally purchased this DAC on the diyaudio forums, and it came to me with several paint chips on the front. It's also missing the original rubber feet.

Please PM me with an offer if you're interested.

I've decided this must go. Last bump before I put it up on Audiogon.
