Does the Audigy 2 NX work properly on my iMac G4? I read the specs and it only lists Windows as a requirement. I want to connect to it through the USB port. If it does work, will I still get it bit-perfect coming out of the Mac through the USB?

Also, if I want to connect the Audigy to my headphone amp I would use the 'front' output jack?

And lastly, how does connecting it to the 'front' jack sound when comparing to a 'pure' line-out?

I'm connecting this to a Headroom Cosmic and HD600.

Thanks!

I highly doubt it. Creative decided to drop all Mac support about four years ago and at least some of the Audigy 2 NX features requires even special drivers for XP (see not at bottom of spec page). I'd stay away from Creative if you want Mac audio. Depending on the store you may be able to buy and try and return if necessary, but I wouldn't be optimistic.
