Need a quick and dirty DIY passive pre, using alps BV

Like the title suggests, I'm trying to find some schematic to build a very simple and quick nonbuffered passive preamp using a 50K alps blue velvet pot, with single line in and line out. The power amp's input impedance is 100k, and the sources output is unknown. What is the best way to go about this? This is a bit of an emergency, build anything that does the job situation while I'm awaiting arrival of a preamp in the mail.

I think you want a 10K pot here.

Are you asking for something other than this?

yes, except less of schematic form and more of a pictoral form? Will I need to add resistors in the path to account for the impedance?
