if u buy cables u can use them on the hd650

you can also diy cables

i did a cheap 10 dollar job on mine and it changes the apperance of the sound completely

Im glad to hear you are enjoying your 880's more Fewtch.. I remember you being slightly disapointed with them when switching from 580's. How does their sound change as they break in? I've got about 35 hours on mine so far.

Well, mine are still breaking in as well, but I've noticed a progressively more 'relaxed' sonic qualities. At first they were somewhat closed-in sounding, but the soundstage continues to open up and the overall sound to become more coherent. No drastic changes like you see with some headphones, just a slow mellowing into their full potential.
