Which are the current Singlepower models? - Page 3

I believe the Aurum simply signifies a gold-plating, so you'll still need the XLR somewhere in the Maestro-XLR Aurum descriptor if you are referring to a balanced amp.

now who's going to get a PPX3 Aurum?

Sign me up for a MPX3 or a Supra Aurium.

How about a more affordable version - a gold plated transformer cover on your black PPX3

Gold plated RCA's are enough for me!

I thought so too afterwards. The change has been made to the list.

Now we only need a model designation for large Maestro chassis SDS-XLR´s. Any ideas, anybody?

I haven’t heard much about this one, except from the prototype at some meets. It would of course be very interesting to read a first impression or even a review of the ready production version. Till then, I wouldn’t know what exactly to call it, so I will not in order to prevent confusion.

I believe it has a designation of the ES-1.

IIRC, there is a Head-Fi´er who has a solid gold volume knob he uses for various applications

Since we are talking SinglePower, I thought I would post this list of no-extras base model prices that Mikhail sent to me recently. They are not posted on the company’s strangely incomplete model-wise website.

PPX3 $649
PPX3 (6SN7) $749
PPX3 Slam $889
MPX3 $949
Supra $1899
Maestro ZR $3299
SDS-XLR Accent-T $5999
SDS-XLR $8900

I can confirm this designation.

You can also order a nickel plated Maestro chassis

Wow - I think I would prefer such one before the Aurum! Then I feel I am back to square one, where I considered the Maestro Aurum XLR not an individual model but a Maestro XLR with the option gold plating. On the other hand, a Singlepower amp in another appearance than traditional black, is a spectacular sight and just because of that would warrant a model name. Let’s keep the Aurum in the list and if a Ni-plated version shows up we can always discuss the situation again.

I have also done some inquiry for more information about the ES-1 to be able to shortly describe it and to find a place for it in the list.

I have added the ES-1 as well, based on the fact that it has made public appearance a couple of times at meets.

It is a pre-production prototype under development.

I have the prices for a few Siwglepowers and the PPX3 SLAM is not $889. Admittedly my prices are around 1 month old at this point but when Mikhail gave me prices it was $799 for the SLAM not 889. Have prices jumped that much in just a month? Also, just for good measure, the MPX3 SLAM is $1050. Anyone know the prices for the Supra XLR (in the Supra Chasis)?
