Static noise with M3 on SACD only

Very strange thing. When I play SACD there is background static noise. Its only on SACD and M3 head amp. I have Denon 3910, cables connected to M3 and from head amp to ROTEL RSP-1066. It happens only on SACD layer. If I switch to CD layer noise is gone. When I change headamp to PPA or PIMETA- no noise at all. If output M3 cables are disconnected - no noise. If ROTEL is on any other mode than standby - no noise. I tryed many headphones and still the same story.

Any idea what can couse this problem?

Maybe it's in the recording.

I've checked few SACD's and it's on all of them.
Maybe it's some kind of loop - sacd player (2ch. analog) > headamp > receiver > sacd player(5.1 analog connection). It I brake it, the noise is gone.

But why it's only on SACD layer and M3 ? that's the bid mystery......

your M3 is most likely oscillating, because it can't handle the ultrasonic crap which your SACD player emmits.. try different opamps, better decoupling, perhaps lowpass the incomming signal or compensate the loop..

interesting thought glassman - qkizz: what opamps are you using?

Thanks Glassman for explanation. I'll try to solve it somehow. It would be much easier if I understand what are you talking about.

"better decoupling, perhaps lowpass the incomming signal or compensate the loop"

How can I do it?

Thanks

start with putting a small cap across the feedback resistors (or increase their value if they're already present).. I'm not familiar with m^3 so sorry, no part numbers..
