Satisfied with this set-up, er sort of. Bass performance dependent on source material. Vinyl like Classic re-issues 180G-200G often among the best(I do have an XR-2 phono-amp). CD redbook depends, some good, some not so good. I compared to HD650 which also mate well with Stealth and CD3K, a little bright with this setup. Bass with these also perform based on source material.

Having tried briefly withe a Cary SEI 300B, std, which was more lush found a bit more detail in the Stealth to my liking overall, but some music especially relaxing vocals and accoustic really shined with the Cary. Guess BB's tuned up version could be something to strive for. Plus a Cary SEI provides a nice speaker amp to if you have hi-efficiency speakers.

* p.s. request was about HP amp, but Stealth also a pre-amp. With a telefunken NOS diamond-back for pre' I get respectable performance on two fronts at VERY reasonable cost. In hindsight, for quite a bit more $ probably would have liked to go for a dedicated RS pre-amp and perhaps likewise on the HP amp, but for the hybrid Stealth for the mouL$a more than satisfied.
