![]() The BrickWall stuff is the best I've seen as far as surge protection is concerned. I use it for all my computer and other gear, including my audio setup. I never did any detailed listening tests to see if it really "choked" the sound, so ignorance is bliss, in this case... |
It limited the dynamics (slightly) for me. Mainly with the K1000's. So I ended up with an AC regenerator like the PS Audio P300.
I still use Brickwalls for my mission critical computers, though.
As for the modular part, I think more outlets can be added, not sure though. I do know that Pricewheeler (the company that makes Brickwalls) offers an "OEM" unit that is just the "guts", and no outlets. It would be up to you to wire it, fuse it, and add outlet receptacles. Not to mention casing it up.
