Distortion with MITechnology Speaker Cable

I have an Adcom GFA 5802 AMP with Adcom GTP-450 preamp, pushing KEF Reference Series Model 4. My speaker cables are MITerminator 4 bi-wired. I noticed distortion in the right speaker and had the amp and pre-amp tested (ok). I then did speaker tests (ok), Finally, I had an electrician test the speaker cable and he said there was a short in the cable. I can't imagine how that could have happened. A major challenge for me is the cables are buried under the floor. We had to cut holes in the basement ceiling to install them originally.
My question is-does anyone know how I can get the cable serviced? I searched the net for MITechnologies and couldn't find their site.
Also, does anyone recommend a different cable? The ones I have weren't inexpensive and I will need two 30 foot cables? Thanks

Once you access the website email or call them. I sent them some IC's that the rca's went bad on. They fixed them free and the IC's were 9-10 years old. I would bet they can repair them for you.
