SOLD
The Jolida JD 100 is known for being a great value. It is also a favorite for modders. There are all sorts of mods, wire replacement, jack upgrades, cap upgrades, tube upgrades. Lots to choose from.
The biggest bang for the buck upgrade you can get is the V-Cap upgrades. These are arguably the best caps on the planet. The V-Cap OIMP caps are used in the output stage with V-cap teflon caps in the second stage. These caps are detailed and sweet. You get body like you would not believe. Read my review here:

Here is the official upgrade info from Response Audio. My unit has all the Level one mods with the special damping material. I also will add the Herbie' Hal-O tube dampers which are installed on the Svetlana 12AX7s. The player also includes the Jam'n'Audio Pro S14 power cord and is $99. This a Belden based cord with good shielding and a synergistic match over the standard cord. This unit is less than a year old and the base Jolida was purchased fom Response Audio, no gray market or Chinese home market version unit here. This is the good stuff. The only reason I am selling is an upgrade to a unit that cost triple what this sells for new.
JD100 Vacuum Tube CD player
Level 1 Upgrade
-First stage output coupling capacitors replaced with a newly designed OIMP "Oil impregnated metalized polypropylene" capacitor by V-Cap. This cap only recently became available to the general public and audio insiders, but Response Audio was evaluating these for some time prior to their introduction, and we have found them to offer just the sonic signature we were after.
-Second stage output capacitors are bypassed with a smaller value V-Cap Teflon capacitor.
-Tubes upgraded to high quality Russian 12AX7s, SVETLANAs.
-Damping material applied to the chassis, lid and transport
Here are the details on the pricing:
New Unit and mod from Response Audio- $1150 + $99 for Power Cord + Herbies Hal-O dampers $20= $1269
Let me know if you have any questions. Be patient with responses as I am traveling a lot for business. You can buy with confidence, check bixby on Audiogon for feedback or cymruroots on ebay.
