I'm not really the biggest fan of this kind of music, but this song sounds really good:
And, if you can get your hands on a cd of this, the whole album is incredible:
Also, Dire straights and brother in arms by the dire straits are amazing as well.

Quote:I recently did just that. I listened to The Nightfly and then Morph the Cat. While I enjoyed both of these recordings, acoustically/sonically The Nightfly is not in the same class as the later two.

New Skrillex song! way different than his current work, in a good way.
also lots of sub-bass in this song, a good listen with the LCD-2!

Okay this one is just about stupid good. Chris Cornell: Songbook. The whole dang album. For those who don't know, this guy was the former front man for Soundgarden. This album is a collection of acoustic stuff from a few concert in 2011. Man can this guy rock the mic.
The recording is phenomenal for vocals. Check it out...post #2578 of 29131/5/13 at 8:42pm- doublea71

The recording is phenomenal for vocals. Check it out...I heard him do a solo 'Black Hole Sun' on Howard Stern's radio show and it was spellbinding. That being said, does everybody have to embed a youtube link in their post? It takes so long for the pages to load...

Was always really impressed with him going way back to the Soundgarden days, would have liked to hear that solo...
I like the embedded links, almost instant gratification. Pro Tip: almost every browser nowadays offers a flash-blocking plugin (in Firefox, the obviously-named Flashblock). Not only does it block flash-based ads (which other ad-blocker may not catch), but it generally speeds up browsing (incl. these pages) by replacing Flash embeds with a play button rather than the actual Flash code, so just hit play to open only the latest one(s)... then you have to click one extra time in the now-displayed Flash frame to actually play the video, but I can live with that
