So did you ever find your answer?

I'm thinking the HDJ2000.... but then again, I'm never getting rid of my Senn HD 25-1 ii's... gs1000.gif

I prefer the HDJ-2000 for beatmatching purposes, DJ1 Pro for focused mixing.

mind explaining that? sorry, i always thought beatmatching and mixing  were both an essential part of djing.

unless, of course, you're a scratch dj or something... or radio dj?

Yeah scratch-mixing's better on the DJ1 Pro. Could be because of the treble or the instrumental separation.

Ahh, nice to know. Very curious to try out the Pioneers myself. The older pioneer headphones (1000's), sadly, were garbage...

I would recommend some Spyn Audio headphones. I own the HP349 model check em out.

  •  Gold-plated ¼” and 1/8" screw-on L-shaped plug for easy access
  •  2-20,000Hz Frequency
  •  32 ohm impedance
  •  10' coiled cable
  •  6’ cable
  •  Adjustable padded headband and earcups & 40mm speaker drivers
  •  Ear-conscious design for long-lasting listening comfort
  •  Durable urethane leather construction

sounds sweet, good isolation and the bass is real mean!

The Sennheisers are a good bet, you may also want to look at the HD25s or some Pioneer HDJs?
