headphone equivalent of shure E4's - upgrade 125's

Hey all,

I've been looking to upgrade my 125's recently, and started a thread on this topic last night. I was looking for a set of cans that were more detailed and allowed for more separation than my 125's currently do.

I just realized an easy way to elicit everyone's help, so sorry for the double post (sort of) and just know that I really appreciate the help.

So here's the question: What cans can be considered equivalent to, or superior to the Shure E4's in an analagous sense? i.e. if I were to buy a pair of headphones equivalent to (or slightly better than)the E4's, what would they be? Another question to ask is, do I just sell my 125's and stick solely with the E4's? What advantages would a set of headphones of the E4's caliber have (if any at all)?

One little trick, however... the headphones are to be played out of my Iaudio X5, so I'd like to keep the resistance below or equal to 125 ohms.

Thanks again and cheers to all.

P.S. - How much should I expect as the minimum cost for this kind of setup?
