FS: IRiver IHP 120 - Rockbox Ready

I have an IRiver IHP 120 that I'm ready to sell. Its in good shape & works perfectly - a couple very small scratches on it. Two digits of the serial # have come off but I have the original sticky I can glue back on - so the # will be supplied. I would give it an 8/10. It would come with:

the player
remote control
power supply/charger
usb cable
original cd - though you really don't need this
leather case

I don't have the original box or paperwork.

It is rockbox ready but I haven't installed it yet. I would install before shipping if someone wants me to.

I'd like Soldplus shipping in US-

This has 20gig hard drive, right?

Yes this is the 20g version.

Damn. I thought so. I love the idea of playing flac and the digital out, but I'm too used to my 60gig iPod to move to a drive 1/3 the size. 20gig of flac is probably only about 60 cd's worth of music. I'm going to sit back and be patient and wait for a flac/digital-out player that's got a bigger drive.

Thanks though - good luck with the sale.

Yeah thats the only drawback. This player can use a 30g replacement drive but so far thats the largest single platter hd that will fit in it. The 40 gig version can house a double platter drive that goes up to 60 gig. I wish this one could to ---
that said - Rockbox is really Awesome.

Man.. I really want this but unfortunately iRiver's Mac support is awful. I wish I could just sell my iPod 20gb for this.. but alas, can't :-(

Mac support is awful? That's news to me. The player should just show up as an external hard drive that you can drag and drop files to. No software necessary.

Anyway, *bump* for this great deal, especially considering you can run Rockbox on it.

Yeah - I haven't heard that IRivers don't match well with MACS either.
But thanks for the bump RotaToR
