SOLD!
Well my Sik Din has crapped out after a faithful year of service, not too bad, but the wires finally crimped to the point of channel disconnect. So I'm going to get a pocketdock or something like that.
But there's no problem with the Xin Custom Right Angle Mini to Mini Adapter I used with the Sik Din - it's a nice chunk of soldered metal that has no wires and served as the connector from my ipod to my sik din like a champ. I tried the sik din with a bunch of wired mini to minis but they all sounded like they had sound degradation versus this adapter, which is wireless.
It has a tough white shrinkwrap over the whole affair which is fully intact. I looked at Xin's site and it looks like he doesn't make em anymore - I guess it was too much of a pain to make, as evidenced by the $25 fee he charged to make them. If you go to your local Rat Shack you won't find this kind of adapter either, it's truly a custom job.
Seeing as how I've gotten a good year out of it, I'll send this anywhere in the USA via PRIORITY MAIL (not first class, that stupid post office lost my P to S 75 Ohm adapter that way) for $20 even via paypal. I'll eat the paypal fees and the bucks for priority shipping. That should give me just enough cashola to get a used pocketdock or beg a DIYer to make a dock line out for me or something, thanks!
In the pic below, the adapter is the white thingy attached between the female mini of the sik din and my amp line in!
