What should I expect?

OK, I've given it alot of thought... or at least I think I have.

The plan is to upgrade from the SR-225's and PA2V2 which I'm using with an old Rega planet (getting it fixed) to RS-1's and a ppx3 SLAM. What should I expect with the type of music I like: Sigur Ros, Godspped You! Black Emperor and the like with other genres too but mainly rock.

Or do you suggest antother combo/upgrade? I really need an amp and I'm hoping the ppx3 SLAM will be what I'm looking for. (SCAD lover has helped me alot with the amp choice)

What do you think... thumbs up or down?
