reading Valis ATM. just read The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch last month.

my avatar is green. it has concentric U's in it. it also happens to be a portion of the cover of Stereolab's Dots and Loops. it's not even my favorite album by the groop, but it looks nifty.

stare at it for 60 seconds, look away and blink real fast. now why the hell did you waste a minute doing something just because an anonymous internet poster told you to? sucker.

When I was just coming to head-fi I read an article in my paper about slovakian newborns that where listening to music as a therapeutic experiment. I never found out what the exact purpose was nor if it was successfull.

I still consider myself a newborn when it comes to headphones, hence my avatar

I like Clockwork Orange, and it's too late to change it now since I use it on a bunch of forums...

Mine changes relatively frequently with pics I just like. But this however I chose when I started taking piano and singing lessons recently. Just some exercising of the intuitive/subjective side of the brain for a change I used to be in a choir years ago but for about 8 years I've done nothing musically other than just listen to tons of music. So these lessons are changing that

Mine is a transmutation circle (you know what it means if you watch the series) from great anime series called Full Metal Alchemist. I don't have any specific reason for this avatar. I just think it looks .

Mine's J frost (uh . . demonic yet cute snowman) from the megami tensei series. I stole the pic off the atlus website. I'm not even a real fan of the series, only played nocturne. (which think is just decent overall) But when I saw hee-ho-kun the shopkeeper, the bastard just stole my heart. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to say that.

Alternative pics

Mine is currently Antony Hegarty of Antony & the Johnsons. Their album "I am a Bird Now" is my favorite album of 05, and his look matches the meaning of my handle.

A small segment of a relatively obscure Dali painting. It depicts the Burning Bush and was part of a series Dali was commissioned to do on the Bible. I saw the painting a few years back and still can't stop thinking about it.
