Up for sale is my slightly used 40gb Sony Vaio Pocket. It is an excellent player that is truly amazing when it comes to features. Why purchase a 20gb DAP when you can get a 40gb Sony DAP that can hold twice as many songs (this unit's firmware has been updated to play mp3's natively) and/or files! The screen is infinitely sharper than the one on the iPod photo (trust me on this...the quality knocked me out). Subjective as sound quality is, all my friends prefer the bassier nature of this Sony player to the relatively anemic sound the iPod produces. Also, don't mistake this particular Sony player for other current Sony mp3 players...this is the only one that comes from their VAIO line. yes, that's right, this player actually comes from the high-end computer line that Sony produces...the difference? This might quite possibly be the most solidly built mp3 player you lay your hands on. The shell of this player is made out of metal, not cheap plastics and the touch pad on this player is every bit as intuitive as the iPod touch controls once you get used to it. This player has been tested by myself to play over 18 hours straight on one charge...excellent battery life! In addition I am willing to part with my Future Sonics EM3 headphones which I love to use. Most of you know of these IEM's already. The bass produced by these earphones is other-worldly - the Sony VP and the EM3 are quite a tandem. Great with all music genres but it especially shines when listening to music with lots of low end punch, like hip-hop, trance, or electronica. If you want the earphones with the player (I will not sell it separately) I will sell both items for $270.00 shipped or the Sony Vaio Pocket for $220 shipped. If you're wondering why I'm selling this mp3 player it is because only have I about 3 gb worth of music that I listen to on the go so my Rio Carbon is more than enough for my use. This player comes with everything that it originally came with...including the box and I'll throw in a case that I have somewhat made for this unit.
