Latest purchase: Sennheiser HD 600 w/ 650 cable and Grado mini-to-1/4" adapter. I'm very, very happy with this choice. Nice to know I have some of the world's best audio gear on my head. I'm pretty much in audio heaven right now (though I could wish for a little more energy in the upper midrange...I guess nothing's perfect).

Next purchase: I need some sealed cans for travel. I was thinking of just going for some HD 201s for $20, but I decided against it at the last moment. I'm pretty happy with my stash now. Since I won't be travelling for another month and a half, I think I'll save up to buy the HD 280s in a little while.

I recently ordered UE10 Pro as well. Even though it has not arrived yet, but I am already looking at the AKG 701.

I was going to buy the AKG K240S but have decided to put off that purchase awhile. I'll probably pick up a Senn HD201 very soon, cuz I just can't resist that sort of price/performance .

Shure E3C's, six or seven months ago. What was I waiting for? And they're not especially high on the Head-Fi food chain, I know -- just a "start," but I love them. They sound great with my hard drive and flash players.

Trogdor,I'd say you're doing pretty good yourself.I really like the blue earcups on the Qualia better than the red and red is my favorite color.I'm pretty excited to hear the HE90's with the new amp Justin's building,just not sure when the they will be here,looks like I'll be waiting for the amp longer than the cans.Gary.

Damn, new amp? New as in one you just bought or brandy new especially made for the HE90? Do tell.

I thought the blue looked way better than the red, I'm surprised the red doesn't get marketed more.

Anyway, thanks, but you beat with the HE90s and an amp - I still need to order an amp.

I think I'll probably get some audio technica ATH-A700's

This, however, changes daily as I read through different threads.
