Amp with AV-710?

Thread Starter
What's a suitable amp for the AV-710 soundcard?

Is one necessary to drive a AKG K271 or Senn HD280?

I was looking into a cheap solution like a PA2V2 or something under $100 preferably.. Would such an amp even make a difference?

I'm also interested to run my senn HD 600 with av710.

I also have a similar question. I have an AV-710 and need an amp to help run my MS-1s. What is a good amp/CMOY for this? I don't really want to spend over $50. Also, I would prefer one with AC power, and not battery.

The $60 shipped pocket-amp 2 at electric-avenues comes with an AC adapter which powers the amp, and can also be used to recharge the amp if you put rechargable AAs inside.

For the guys interested in being able to go HD600 + PA2v2, read reply #11 here: http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=141166.

Not sure which source OP used, though.
