I always order online. paying extra for shipping is still cheaper than buying in Canada 95%+ of the time.

I'll look into it and see what I can get quickly but like I said, if you're gonna wanna check a bunch out side by side, check em out at the Bloor store...or check them our at Bay Bloor and then see how our pricing compares with them for if you wanted to order through us.
Can you get more HD580s? How much do you sell them? Btw, is L&M an authorized retailer? Where do I send the HD580s if service is needed?

Thanks,

I'd imagine we are authorized dealer seeing as all 25 of our stores carry Sennheiser and Sennheiser has distribution within Canada. I will check in on Friday to see who we get our product from directly.

Therefore, yes, we can order HD580's for you no problem or just transfer from another store if they have. I believe we will get a shipment this week. Also, any and all warranties go through Long and McQuade...we will handle the repairs / RMA's / shipping and everything.

Thought I would add a little comment here.
The problem is that Senn Canada is very high priced. Having worked in the retail end I could have bought at cost $290.00 Can. which was still $150 Canadian higher than the US pricing.
I eventually got the from audioadvisor who had them on sale for $149.00 plus I had a $50.00 off coupon which brought them down to $99.00 US or $123.00 Can, not bad!
They arrived 3-4 days later in TO.

I did get L&M to order my AKG K501's which were on par, actually better than the US pricing.

The above comment was in reference to the HD580's.

When did you get that discount? how did you come across that coupon?

I went into bay bloor radio to try all the sens on. The px200 were sh!t. I couldn't stand its wobbliness. The sound was crap. I hate closed headphones. The only headphones i liked were 600 and the 555. Although they didn't have any 580 in stock I want to get one of them. The 555 was priced reasonably at 199 if my memory serves me correct. I love the velour feel to it.

Did they tell you how much the 580s would cost?

where does it say that the minidisc canada is an authorized dealer... because their site looks sketchy and the prices look a bit too low for a canadian store
