I have senn 280 pros which are full-sized phones & (to me) very comfortable. I was thinking of picking up a pair of beyer 250-80's to upgrade ( I want a closed phone), but I'm concerned that they are described as "medium sized circumaural phones" but actually don't fit completely around the ears. Are they uncomfortable on normal sized ears, since they probably contact some portion of the surface of the ears? Also, are they a noticeable upgrade sound-wise on the 280's? Are they noticeably worse than the 280's for isolation? I would use them with an airhead & a sony d-ej925, classical & classic rock. Thx!
