OMG we are such geeks! This is my wife's quote-

"Why are they called iCans? what are cans?"

I just realized that the Normal World doesn't associate the word "Cans" with headphones! When did "cans" become slang for headphones? Ultrasone picked up on this term with some savvy and may even make the term hip now, but hey - I've only heard the term "cans" here on head-fi! And mags that quote us as "the headphone community calls them 'cans'" hehe.

i realized that when i saw a girl wearing V6's and commented on how nice they were... and got slapped.

no that didn't really happen, but i could imagine it would.

Yep. there are way too many comments and pics on Head-fi that we couldn't get away with IRL. Case in point...
