ipod nano + er-6i + pa2v2

I're read on several othreads threads stating pa2v2 is one of the best value amp for < $100.
After talking to Gary, he told me it would cost just $56 shipped to australia, without any AC adapter.
And for me this price is really a good price.

So, for < $100, is this the best value amp I should buy?
Will I hear/notice much improvements in the sound department, especially the bass?

To my ears, the ER6i benefits greatly from the PAv2, particularly in the bass department. For $56, I honestly don't think you'll do better. Just my opinion. of course.

Agreed. My friend got one from Gary in last month. I try it with my E4C is really nice. Think it will be better after burn in for longer time. Still worth for the price.

Concurred.

The ER-6i benefitted immensely from the PA2.v2, developing a satisfying, full-bodied sound that is a far, far cry from the limp-wristed tones that it managed sans PA2.v2.

That said, the improvement only seemed significant after being fed through my PocketDock line-out; through the head-out, it seemed negligible and I almost wrote it off as a waste of money.

Yes, the PAV2 makes the Er6i come alive, you will love it.

i got mine last week, quality amp however make sure you have batteries on hand before it arrives :P

but yeah my e2cs didnt benefits too much(no bass impact) however it has plenty of power to boost my dt770/80s to deafening levels. Improved the soundstage on both to me through a ipod mini/pocketdock.
