Just Got my iPod nano!!!

Well I wanted to be the first to say I got my Apple iPod nano. Will post pics soon.

Initial impressions - the thing is damn ugly in pictures and Apple's product page compared to real life. It's not so long and skinny in real life, and it's incredibly thin. The screen is real sharp and bright. The click wheel is awsome. I'm no Apple lover (I stupidly bought a Mac mini and hate the thing), but this really will be bigger than the iPod mini. I said before the mini will come back, but with the nano I fail to see why.

I can only see the mini coming back when they can get 20-60gb hard drives to fit and just do away with the fullsize ipods.

Wow. Thank you for the pictures. You were right about the screen being really sharp and bright.

The jack and dock connector placement may end up being a good thing. Think of third party lanyards, etc. With the 'click' connection of the connector (think Sik) it could be used for other things besides charging and transfers.

Is the low frequency / bass rolloff present in the Nano? :O
