Sony MDR-SA5000 review - Page 13

Yes, i am the only one that have done it. They do a lot of difference....
You can see my details about it in my profile....
Well, they are warmer to a pleasant way. His bass is much deeper and strong (but balanced with the rest of the frecuency spectrum) such that it feels below me as a subwoofer; and it is very good quality bass too. And they have a very good soundstage too (very wide and deeper), clear and clean sound, excellent image, resolution, etc. They are really in another league...

Sorry, for the moment i don't have pics (i don't have a digital Camera). But i can post them later (it is very complicated to open the enclosure again...). Them externally looks as a normal Denon, but with some cosmetical differences

That would be a excellent idea [i was considering it too, for much time), to add to the midrange more lushness (not that it lacks it, but it would be good (only for the sake of it)]. But for the moment, it is no needed for me. They sound excellent as they are now.

They appear to have lost there angle, maybe the way to go is fit the SA5000 drivers into a CD3000 frame, or any of the Sony phones with angled drivers.
