I am now considering building a device that disconnects power from my audio components during a brownout or power loss, and KEEPS it off until I manually reset it.
This means a yucky relay or two inside and a simple pushbutton reset switch.
But this is an ac power handling device. I need a good box with a space or cutout for a standard ac jack set. Then it has to have room inside for the relay and board. Has to be sturdy.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I would put this in the DIY section, but this forum does deal with POWER stuff.
Any comments would be appreciated.
