Yes the Gilmore lite is a great amp.It powers everyone of my headphones, from my high ohm Senns to my Grados. The sound is incrediable for the amount of money. If I had known that one amp could do such a good job,I would have never bought my antique sound lab tube amp.Even though I still enjoy the otl Mark 3 with my Senns.

Hey, that's great, congrats to Justin! Pretty brief review, wish it was longer and more detailed. He makes a good point though: the Lite is very neutral. Often times it's harder to describe audio gear that is very neutral. Given it's transparency, quickness, dynamics and neutrality in tone it really is an outstanding amplifier at it's price point.

I agree completely, he hit the high points but we want all the details!

To me it's always been a lot easier to hear flaws in gear than when they get it right. For me, a very good amplifier takes longer to get a handle on since you have to run more songs by it to see if you can get it to misbehave.

Where can you actually order that Cute amp? Obviously I cannot read the info on their site. Too bad they don't sell to the US, or on ebay....

Firestone is fairly well-known in Taiwan for their audio equipment. Their products include headphone amps and DACs.

A headphone amp model called Cute Beyond was recently launched; it seems to be the latest and best model in the "Cute" line and sells for about US$136.

I've heard their Fubar USB DAC briefly using a notebook PC. They've also recently launched the Fubar II USB DAC that sells for about US$94 and the Spitfire DAC that sells for about US$204.

From the info on their website, it seems Firestone currently has sales channels in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.

They list an email address for sales inquiries: sales@mail.firestone.idv.tw
