mrdon:
I have an "old school" Monster Interlink 400 Mk I in my interconnect graveyard box. This cable was one step above the 300.
The 400 lacks alot of the fine spatial characteristics, treble is unrefined, bass strength is ok, but undefined. It has a decently wide soundstage but lacks depth and "air." In other words, it is very mid-fi.
IMHO, I don't think the 300 will remotely do your equipment justice.

mrdon, I would take a look at some Magwire Originals or Signalcable Analog's (or the higher model if you can spend the money). I've been using the Mags and Originals in my system for a while now, and I'm really pleased with the results. I've been having a really hard time telling the differences, but I'd say sound-wise the Mags have a more spacial presentation. However, if I had to choose 1, I'd take the Signalcables due to the less stiff design and excellent build quality.
