Go-vibe with Zen Micro and Chaintech AV-710

What interconnects do I need? Norm recommended the small Cardas for portable use but what exactly are those? And what about the interconnects for the AV-710? Someone please help 'cause I don't know anything about these things.

I'm buying a go-vibe V3, with dual AD825 op-amps and the gain as 3. And a red LED to match my red Zen Micro. I asked for the amp to have the best synergy with the Alessandros - can't wait for my MS-2i's ). Any first hand experience with the same amp and Alessandros?

You will need a mini-mini interconnect. Try the Zu Pivot for around $30-$40 on their eBay promotion. IMO, it has great synergy with the Go-Vibe.

Also, you can always have someone DIY a cable for you. RnB Sky Blue cable comes into mind.

This one's for the portable, right? Or do I have to get a mini-mini interconnect for the souncard as well?

a mini to mini interconnect is a cable that is terminated with 1/8" connectors on both ends, the kind that your pc speakers use as a plug.

depending on the build and quality of the cable the sound of the set up is directly effected.

the cable that came with my pocket dock, drastically bottlenecks the gain of the signal and loses a few gaps in frequency range.

You would just need one good cable to connect from you pc to the amp.

This is the Cardas mini...

It will work well for portable use from your Zen Micro to the go-vibe. You can buy it from TR Audio. You will have to e-mail him for a quote on shipping to Finland.

You might want a longer interconnect to use for your Chaintech depending on how far your amp will be from your computer.

RnB180, just sent a PM to you before reading the replys. I'd like to buy your Sky Blue mini. Do you do the kind of interconnects I need for the soundcard? If not Norm'd be kind enough to sell his extra computer grade 60" long mini to mini for $8.

Is this the kind of cable I need for the soundcard?

um the first pic posted shouldve given you a general idea of what it is and looks like and yes thats the kind you need. but why not buy a good cable since you bought an amp to make your headphones sound good anyways.
