WTB: Sony micro-to-mini headphone adapter (For MD remotes, etc, with Micro out)

I'm about to get a Sony D-777, and it has the same style connector on its remote as their minidisk players - a "micro" plug.

Soundprofessionals sells an adapter, but it's $20 shipped here . I'd like to get one that's either DIY, or a pointer to what kind of a store I should be looking in. I'm in the Bay Area - I haven't noticed any stores selling things like this, though..

I have the D777, and I have that adapter too...

Sony stopped making that about 3 years ago, when they made all there remotes with a standard jack plug...

Mine, back then cost me the equivilant of $15... so, if the $20 adaptor is a good match, I'd take it... these adapters are kinda like gold dust
