No, I wasn't, infact the only reason I had Internet Exploiter open is that Nutscrape had crashed two times in a row trying to access this thread.

It probably was just an exploited security hole manifesting itself...

Jude: Don't worry, it'll take three pop-up ads on two different browsers on two different computers to make me so much as think that Head-Fi may have even vaguely thought about being associated with any form of advertising :-)

There will likely be targeted ads eventually (as a form of sponsorship needed to pay for this joint) -- as with Audio Asylum -- but not pop-up ads. Again, the need for sponsors is inevitable, but how we execute those sponsorships is the key. I assure you it will be done in good taste, with the integrity of the forums always in mind.
