How to split tracks in a single flac file w/ cue

I was told that I can easily divide one full flac album w/ cue file into the seperate tracks...Can someone explain how, if this is indeed true?
Thanks!

Yes, there are a few programs that can do that. Personally, I use foobar2000. Just open the cue file, and foobar2000 will list all the tracks. Then right click and choose (convert -> run conversion). From there choose your codec and the file will be divided into individual track files.

How do I make it convert with the filename and id3 intact? Right now, it just outputs as "Ablum name 1" etc.

I use Daemon tools to mount a Virtual device drive and then convert from it using dbpoweramp. The tags in dbpoweramp are taken from freedb.org.

If the tags are not there, select all the tracks in the album (make sure they are in track order) and right click freedb -> get tags

The tags should remain intact. To change the output name, from the menu select "Foobar 2000" - > preferences. From there select components -> diskwriter. Under "output filename formatting" put something more useful like:
%album% - %tracknumber% - %artist% -%title%
