Audio Technica ATH-l3000/ATH-w2002 Pad Group buy - Page 3

I have a quote from Bluetin.com, on L3000 earpads for $41.00 + shipping. I guess that they would be shipped to me, and then I would forward them onto you folks by priorty mail. I believe that price is good on as few as five pairs, so order up guys, and have a spare pair on hand for the future. Please respond here or PM, in a reasonable time frame, so that I can get things rolling.

Thanks for the heads up! Sign me up for one set!

Raisin,

Please sign me up for two sets. I will use one for my W2002 and another for spare. Thanks for working out the deal.

Bobeau questioned whether that price was individually, or for a pair. I believe it is for a single pad, but I am double-checking on the matter. Does anyone know which way the Audiogon offer worked (single/pair)?

L-3000 Earpads

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the PM. Put me down for one pair of pads.

Replacement earpads are usually sold in pairs. See Chefguru's original Post in this thread and the pricing he got from Audio Cubes. He states that Kohn from Audio Cubes told him that the MSRP for L-3000 pads was $70. There's no way that Bluetin could be charging $41.00 for a single earpad.

Thanks for taking the initiative to get this Group Buy off the ground.

Bluetin has confirmed that the price is $41.00 each- $82.00 per pair. They also indicate that the left and right pads are unique. I am checking with Audiocubes, also, as their previous quote looks better (if equal terms)
Anyway, I'm in, regardless of the price- it's just good practice. I'll keep the thread updated as info arrives, but I am looking to wrap this up soon.

Raisin,

The previous Audiocubes was 72 dollars + shipping per pair. If the pad is 82 dollars per pair, I might have to withdraw from getting it.

Hmm... maybe they sell both invididuals and sets (different part #s)? If they actually do sell sets that makes sense the individual pads would be more expensive.

In any case I'm out too, unless say the price is under $50. Looks like my pads have plenty of life in 'em.

all AT pads I've bought come in pairs (well, except for the ATH-W10VTG headpads, but that's a different matter). one set of pads per box direct from AT. the part numbers don't have anything regarding left or right (since they come in pairs) and I didn't know you can purchase them separately.

part number for W2002 pads is HP-W2002. part number for the L3000 pads is HP-L3000.

New information, check your PM, or PM me for details if we haven't communicated yet.

Anyone interested in another buy for ATH-W2002, W100, W1000 pads?

PM me if so.  I'm interested in two pairs of probably the W2002 as they are leather and probably more durable.

The problem is that if you can still get them....

HP-W2002 is still in stock in Japan but you can no longer get such a good price in my opinion...

And this is an 6 year-old thread...

Yeah I know what you mean.  I saw stock on Audio Cubes II, but most of the supply I see online is from Japanese stores.  I've contacted ACII, but with the recent crisis in Japan I am not expecting much.
