There are plenty of times when I've seen the RS-1 in practically brand new condition being sold for $550 or less on the for-sale forums. I understand for new buyers that the warranty is practical, but it's only a year of cushion.

I mean, take a look at how many people have RS-1s around here from 5 or more years ago. I rarely hear of any problems from them.

The Head-Fi search engine knows no limits. But it's pretty amazing how relevant the topic is. I just ordered from headroom. Maybe I should call them back and ask for the 10% discount. retro.
