Weather Systems is definitely an album I feel bad for missing last year. It's soooo good. Unfortunately the CD cut is pretty bad and the LP sounds kind of thin.

I'll give it a spin on the speakers soon to be sure. The scale of the album is amazingly epic. I can't get over it. It's really good.

My older brother came home from college yesterday, bringing two new CD sets with him, both videogame soundtracks:

  • Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix Soundtrack (Deluxe Edition)
  • Pokemon Black2 * White2 Super Music Complete

I also just ordered Smash by Martin Solveig from Amazon. With a total of seven new CDs (and one DVD), I have a lot of listening to do over my spring break from school.smily_headphones1.gif

Wow, I had no idea anyone here already had a profile pic like mine when I made my account! Probably should have expected to see it here for the same reason I picked it, though.

$2.99 each at Goodwill. The records look NM and are in poly-lined sleeves.

They probably had about 10 boxsets total but good lord this was all I could afford at the end of the month

Great find. I wish I could stumble upon a classic buy like this.

Found a great deal on the 4LP set recently and couldn't pass it up. Easily beats the CD...but the LP was mastered by Steve Hoffman...so...

Who is Steve Hoffman? tongue.gif

I mean, I assume he is a producer/engineer, but is he good?

Got his own forums. Take a look at his discography, but it's not near complete.

tl;dr - He's a legend.

So that means the LP is great, right?
