Lol, indeed, the album came before that movie, so if anything the poster for the movie is inspired in the album's coverredface.gif

It's a terrible thing when one's school is only a few traffic lights away from the city's local record store. I ended up stopping by before class today and picked up these two CDs:

i know the feeling, im within 5 minutes of both a music store and a comic book shop. My will has held out surprisingly well

Our Best record store, best book store, and best furniture store (and best sushi place for that matter) are within 2 blocks of each other.

Would that be Waterloo Records? I don't know if it's still the place to shop but I used to shop there when I lived in Austin.

Yup. Waterloo, Book People, and West Elm.

Typical day downtown for me is Book People to get tea and flip through HiFi mags. Then over to Waterloo to blow a hundred bucks, then to West Elm to drool over this amazing couch they have. :D

Cool. Yeah, that was always the best record shop in Austin and I figured that hadn't changed. smile.gif

Some iTunes Store purchases.

If you don't have the Rin version of the song "tear," it might be a single worth getting. As is typical of AVTechNO! even the instrumentation is different so it's not just a simple vocal track swap.

This came a couple of days ago. It's the soundtrack to the awesome indie game VVVVVV made by Terry Cavanagh.

SoulEye - PPPPPP

These three came today. I've already mentioned them earlier in this thread, but I already posted pics on Facebook so I figured why not post them here as well.

Tomomi Ukumori - Humble & Radiant

Various artists - 0004:a galaxy odyssey

wowaka - Unhappy Refrain [2-disc set]

I also bought the album "A Dramatic Turn of Events" by Dream Theater today. It's the version that comes with a DVD.

I like it, I'm not really used to live recording so I got little distracted but still well worth it :)

Between The Buried And Me- The Parallax II: Future Sequence
The HAARP Machine- Disclosure
Affiance- The Campaign
Mestis- Basal Ganglia
Periphery- Icarus EP
Deftones- Adrenaline

all were new, except Adrenaline, which was second hand, the disc is pretty scratched up, but I only paid 50 cents for it, and luckily it plays perfectly still, so I'm happy with it

All amazing, I'm personally in love with Koi No Yokan and Parallax II right now, I was hyped to listen to Disclosure, but I didn't got too attached to it in the end. Still a good album. NEED to try Basal Ganglia though... Deftones is the next band on my list to get all the cds from, since I know they will be available where I (will soon) livebiggrin.gif
